Garvey kicked off proceedings from the spot, after Treacy was fouled in the box. Stamullen created some good chances after that, however the hosts were equal to them as they created good opportunities. But Roche, who returned in between the sticks for us after missing our first two matches, was equal to any shots fired at him.
The 2nd half saw us inject intensity in our play and after good work from McAllister in the middle finding Wogan, the latter unselfishly played the ball into the path of Treacy who, on his full debut for the senior team, easily fired home with ease to claim his first competitive senior goal for the club.
McAllisterโs inch perfect whip of a cross found Wogan running in behind the defence to fire past the keeper to make it 3-0.
Belcamp werenโt giving up as they made it 3-1 on the hour mark which left Stamullen some food for thought.
On the 65th minute, Garvey spotted the run of McAllister out wide. The Belcamp right back did win the ball initially, but McAllister got the ball back off him, cut in and curled an unstoppable shot into the top right hand corner to make it 4-1.
Our seniors didnโt stop there, Wogan caught the Belcamp defence napping as he capitalised on a missed pass and he got the ball to Mulvany who buried it into the bottom corner to make it 5-1.
The hosts did get a penalty late on and Roche stood big only for the Belcamp striker to hit the post. Wogan was then brought down in the box, after Garvey found him with a defence splitting pass.
Wogan himself took the penalty and buried it to claim a brace, with 2 assists and end the game at 6-1.
